I have practiced martial arts in three different clubs.

My main Instructors were:

  • Sensei Nidal Malki – 2nd Dan Black Belt
  • Sensei Glen Moulds – 5th Dan Black Belt
  • Sensei Rod Butler – 6th Dan Black Belt

Over the years, I have realised that being flexible is so important in the practice of martial arts as it tends to unify the body, mind & spirit.

Flexibility is the trade mark of a great performer and is important to every martial artist. We will dedicate a good time of the training to work on flexibility & stretching to improve your physique & flexibility through dynamic stretching techniques and mental focus. This is just because a flexible muscle is less prone to injuries, allowing you to deliver powerful blows and kicks quicker and permits you to execute each technique more effectively.

We Live To Help Train You

When you first start to train you’ll make gains in your training but after a few months these gains will level off because your body has learnt to adapt. To avoid hitting a plateau you need to change your martial arts workout every couple of weeks.

To excel in martial arts you need to :

  • enjoy martial arts

  • know when to train

  • know how to train

  • develop your chi

  • master your diet

  • know the basics in a martial art, such as Shotokan karate up to black belt

You also need to train every part of your body.
